Hi, I’m Elana Mullaly. I'm a proud mumma to two little boys, and my super power is making time freeze. I’ve been an artist my entire life, and since pregnancy have found a new passion as a family, newborn, maternity, and birth photographer.

I've always taken photographs, and becoming a mum has made me savour all the precious little fleeting seconds even more. Picking up that SLR, and capturing life as it was in that moment – beautiful, messy, raw, and precious.

I love to capture moments of warm connection through my photography. I offer just the right amount of direction to get you feeling comfortable, and we move quickly to keep little people happy and busy. I also pull back to allow you and your family to just be yourselves.

I get an absolute thrill from capturing these images, and value the opportunity to preserve these same feelings of love and nostalgia for your family. I adore photographing children and families – those connections that naturally happen in a candid and warm way. The real life moments, rather than the stiff, ‘say cheese and look at the camera’ moments. It’s a big sister laughing at her little brother’s booty noises. It’s the way your tiny baby’s head fits in your palm with its soft newborn peach fuzz and smoochy lips. It’s a big family snuggle puddle, and of course just laughing with these little people.
